Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 16, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Layer8, Inc. (“Layer8,” “we,” “us”) handles information in connection with this website (the “Site”). It applies to the Site only. We are currently operating in stealth and this Site is informational; it does not provide a product or account service.

01 Information we collect

  • Information you give us. If you email us or otherwise contact us, we receive your email address, name, and the contents of your message. If you request a demo, we receive the details you enter in the form (name, job title, company, work email, how you heard about us, and whether you agreed to marketing emails and calls), together with the page you submitted it from and the time. The form is delivered to us by email through a transactional email provider; we use it to respond to your request, and contact you for marketing only if you ticked the consent box.
  • Technical data. Like most websites, our hosting and analytics providers may automatically log basic technical information such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and pages viewed.
  • Cookies. We use only essential cookies and, if you accept them, analytics cookies. When you first visit the Site, a banner lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies; your choice is itself stored in a small cookie so we don’t ask again. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.
  • Google Analytics. If you accept analytics cookies, we use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic, such as which pages are visited and how visitors arrive at the Site. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and receives technical data about your visit; it does not receive anything you type into our forms. If you decline, Google Analytics is never loaded. Your choice also applies to our product documentation site, which uses Google Analytics the same way. Learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

02 How we use information

We use the limited information above to respond to your inquiries, operate and secure the Site, understand aggregate traffic, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

03 Sharing

We share information only with service providers who help us run the Site (for example, hosting, email, and analytics), bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations, and where required by law or to protect our rights. We do not share your information for third-party advertising.

04 Retention

We keep information only as long as necessary for the purposes described here or as required by law, after which we delete or anonymize it.

05 Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Residents of the EEA/UK (GDPR) and California (CCPA/CPRA) have specific rights. To exercise any right, contact us at privacy@layer8.ai.

06 Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

07 International transfers

We may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

08 Children

The Site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

09 Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
